Science Factoid: Puking your guts out may be only a figure of speech for humans, but for sharks, it's actually possible. When a shark vomits, its stomach can turn all the way inside out and come out of its mouth. It rinses its stomach out in the water before swallowing it back down where it belongs. This is handy for indiscriminate eaters like the tiger shark, who has been found with inanimate objects - such as license plates - in their stomachs. YUCK!!
